For ReviewPulse, a Chrome extension by Effiguard Tech SL
What ReviewPulse collects
ReviewPulse collects only two data points from Amazon product pages you visit:
- The star rating of each visible review
- The date of each visible review
This data is extracted from the page content solely to calculate average rating trends over time. No other information is read, recorded, or processed.
Where your data is stored
All data stays on your device. ReviewPulse uses chrome.storage.local and never transmits data to any external server.
There is no backend, no analytics service, and no cloud sync. If you uninstall the extension, all stored data is automatically deleted by Chrome.
What ReviewPulse does not collect
The extension does not access, collect, or store:
- Personal information (name, email, address, payment details)
- Amazon account data or login credentials
- Browsing history or activity outside of Amazon product pages
- Cookies, tracking identifiers, or fingerprinting data
Third-party access
No third party has access to any data collected or stored by ReviewPulse. The extension loads the Chart.js library from a CDN for rendering charts in the popup — this request does not transmit any user data or review information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated, the revision date at the top of the page will be changed. Continued use of the extension after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
